What is a work-trade?

The King’s Ranch is meant to be an asset for our community, and we believe no one should be priced out of the opportunity for rest and recreation.

We all have something to give, be it time, talent, or treasure. For those who struggle financially, our work-trade option for booking a stay is as follows:

For every 4 man-hours of labor, we will comp you one night at the Ranch’s Campground. For a family of 8, 1 hour of work by each member equals two nights at the campground. That same family could put in 4 hours of labor to earn two nights at the Homestead.

Work-trade hours can be accrued over time and must be completed prior to redeeming when making a reservation.
